Frequently Asked Questions
Can you clarify what's included in the price?
Before you pay anything, the first thing you will do is book a free telephone consultation to discuss your needs and what session topics would be suitable for you.
If, after the consultation, you would like to book a session, you will be sent an invoice to be paid within 48 hours with confirmation of the date and time.
If the fee is not paid within that time, your session will be cancelled.
All sessions are priced at £50 for 90minutes.
Each session will cover different areas of body language, but every session includes: a printed handout to help you make progress with training independently, a clicker, and a tracker sheet to help document and see progress.
A follow-up call will take place 7 days after your first session.

What if my dog needs several training topics?
If your dog would benefit from multiple training topics, it is best to keep these sessions separate and book them for different days to ensure that both you and your canine friend absorb the information and then have time to put it into practice.

Do you do bundles or discounts if I want to book more than one session?
Unfortunately, not at this time.

After the one session and follow-up, what's next?
Everyone learns at their own pace, dogs included. Training is ongoing; we never stop learning. If you feel like you need another session, then please feel free to message me, and we can book another one-to-one at your home. You are also welcome to get in touch if you need some advice or guidance over the phone.

What if my dog isn't treat-motivated?
If we can't find a tasty treat that your dog will love, then we can use different toys to get them motivated.

I have a disability. Can I still train?
Of course you can. We are neurodivergent friendly and will accommodate your needs where possible. Just email at the time of inquiring, and we can talk through what aspects of training you will need help with.

My dog is a banned breed. Can we still train?
Unfortunately, our insurance means we can not accommodate dogs that fall under the Dangerous Dogs Act.

How many sessions does it take for my dog to be trained?
Training is an ongoing part of life. Some dogs are quick learners while others take a bit longer, so there is no definitive answer. The key to any training is consistency; you must continue to practice the skills taught after the session in order to see progress.

Do I need to learn body language before the session?
As part of our ethos, we strongly believe all dog owners should know body language before they start to train, which is why this is taught at the beginning of each session. We want dogs to feel happy and comfortable while we work with them. By learning body language, we can recognize when our dogs are starting to feel worried so we can stop, take a break and reset.
